Dual Temp Reefer

A refrigerated trailer that can hold two separate temperature zones at once, so chilled and frozen freight can ride together.

A dual temp reefer is a refrigerated trailer built with two independently controlled temperature zones. A movable bulkhead splits the space so one section can run frozen while the other stays merely chilled, all in a single trailer.

This lets a carrier combine different perishable products — say frozen goods and fresh produce — on one load instead of needing two trucks. It’s a more specialized version of a standard reefer, and the added capability usually commands a premium.
