Fuel Card

A payment card drivers use to buy fuel — and sometimes other truck expenses — often with negotiated discounts at partner stations.

A fuel card is a specialized payment card for drivers to buy diesel and, in many cases, other on-the-road expenses. Fleets use them to control and track spending, and the cards frequently come with discounts at partner truck stops and fuel networks.

Beyond convenience, fuel cards give a fleet clean records of where and how much was spent, which feeds into cost tracking and settlements. Since fuel is one of the largest costs in trucking, even small per-gallon savings add up across a fleet.
